Why We Made Prairie State
Prairie state was created for personal reasons. The two founders of Prairie State have family members that were diagnosed with
Celiac Disease, also known as
Gluten Intolerance. It was frustrating watching family members struggle with understanding if ingredient labels did or did not contain any form of gluten.
Our Background
Both of Prairie State's founders have spent their entire career in developing new food products for the food service industry, including grocery stores. We are experts in working with food ingredients and specialty seasoning blends. Both founders are also accomplished chef's.
